“I’M CONSTANTLY FALLING IN LOVE WITH OBJECTS. THEY FOLLOW ME AROUND THE WORLD.” LEE RADZIWILL
I love things. And not in the way that I mindlessly consume. In the way that I love the coffee mug I drink out of every morning and how it feels in my hands. In the way the little orange ginger jar I had made into a lamp that sits atop my bathroom cabinet gives soft light in the mornings. In the way my little turquoise Balinese horse sways when I sit down next to it. I find deep moments of gratitude every day in my home. Every single room provides a bit of sanctuary and respite from the busyness the world requires of me. I think that is the great gift of simplifying through organizing our lives and the way we live at home. I think it is such a blessing to be able to walk into a room I’ve been in a thousand and still feel immense joy. It is a true gift to be able to share what I’ve learned about conscious consumption and give people the same of joy in their own homes.
